At least 30 warships needed to open Strait of Hormuz amid Iran blockade, sources say

At least 30 warships would be needed to re-open the Strait of Hormuz for oil tankers, according to UK defence sources.

The ships would be needed to escort commercial vessels through the key waterway while limiting the threat from Iranian air, sea and underwater drones, as well as missiles.
