31 massive gigs and music festivals happening in Leeds in 2023

One of the joys of a new year is making big plans for the 12 months ahead and we are here to provide a little bit of help.

In 2023, there’s so much happening to look forward to. To assist you, we’ve put together a list of some of the very biggest and best music gigs, comedy shows and concerts set to take place in Leeds next year.

Our list includes events happening in towns and cities right across the city. There’s major shows scheduled for our big venues including Leeds First Direct Arena, Leeds O2 Academy and Leeds Grand Theatre.

Highlights include Sir Elton John’s stop in the city as part of his farewell tour, Peter Kay’s comeback comedy shows and Michael Buble’s return to Leeds as part of his UK tour. Elsewhere, we have huge outdoor summer events like Leeds Festival, Live at Leeds: In The Park, Let’s Rock Leeds: The Retro Festival and Slam Dunk as well as big outdoor shows in Millennium Square.
