Aldi is getting a reputation for offering designer dupes at a fraction of the cost of some designer versions. The latest offering comes in the form of cookware, with a £30 Homeware SpecialBuy being compared to a similar designer item that retails at £300.
How the dupe performs hasn't been tested by us but the budget version of the cookware certainly has an impressive look and it has gone down a storm with shoppers. Aldi is selling cast iron casserole dishes for £29.99 and, if you've not already guessed, shoppers are comparing them with iconic cookware brand Le Creuset.
Similar style and size versions of Le Creuset currently costs £300 at John Lewis. A whopping difference of £270.
