Habit 1: Fix the drip you've stopped hearing
A single dripping tap wastes between 15 and 20 litres of water per day. Over a month, that's 450 to 600 litres gone from one fixture you tuned out weeks ago. In most Indian households, there are two or three such taps, a kitchen faucet that never quite closes, a bathroom tap with a worn washer, a geyser inlet that seeps. The fix costs under ₹50 at any hardware shop and takes twenty minutes. The savings show up on the next bill without any further action.
