Like all the best streaming services, Netflix delivers a steady stream of new TV shows and movies to subscribers, and if you're hoping to spend your weekend relaxing on the sofa, I can help.
I've scrolled through the list of everything that's new on Netflix in February 2026 and put together a brief list of recommendations that I think belong on your watchlist. Granted, it has been a quieter week for Netflix movies, so we're instead looking back at the movies that came to Netflix at the start of the month, but seeing as the streamer bolstered its library with a slew of solid watches, that's no real problem. Here are three new to Netflix movies that I'd recommend streaming this weekend.
'Crazy, Stupid, Love.' (2011)
If you're looking for a laugh this weekend, I'd recommend Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's hilarious romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love." It's worth seeing for one fight scene alone.
This star-studded watch revolves around a set of intertwined love stories that are anchored around middle-aged family man, Cal Weaver (Steve Carell). His wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), asks for a divorce, and that surprise separation also sees him losing his best friend, Bernie, who sides with her in the split.
The split sees him crossing paths with serial womanizer, Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling), a man who was just recently brushed off by a law school grad (Emma Stone). After listening to Cal loudly complain about his life, Jacob approaches Cal and offers to take him on as a project and transform his life by teaching him how to pick up women.

'Ex Machina' (2014)
Alex Garland's critically acclaimed and Oscar-winning directorial debut also landed at the start of the month. This gripping watch introduces us to young computer programmer Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson). Caleb wins a contest that allows him to spend a week at the luxurious, hi-tech, and remote private estate owned by his company's leader, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac).
There, he learns that Nathan has chosen him to be the human component in a test to determine the intelligence and consciousness of Ava (Alicia Vikander), a humanoid robot with advanced artificial intelligence... and after meeting and forming a connection with her, Caleb swiftly finds himself caught between Ava and her creator.

'Focus' (2015)
"Focus" is a slick, twisting crime thriller watch that both relies on (and is elevated by) the chemistry between its two stars.
The movie sees veteran con artist Nicky (Will Smith) taking rookie grifter Jess (Margo Robbie) under his wing and inducting her into his crew after she fails to trick him. After things get a little romantic between them, Nicky and Jess abruptly go their separate ways. A couple of years down the line, Nicky and Jess are unexpectedly reunited on a new high-stakes sitch where it's never quite clear who is playing who.
