3 must-watch movies to stream on Peacock before the Super Bowl

Peacock logo on purple cracks background.

Seeing as Peacock's home to both Super Bowl LX and the 2026 Winter Olympics, I am sure that there are plenty of people out there who are either about to sign up to Peacock or who've already picked up the streaming service so they can tune in to all the action.

Seeing as the NBCUniversal streamer isn't quite a juggernaut like Netflix or Prime Video, I figure there are viewers out there who might want to know what else they can use their new streamer to watch in the run-up to this week's major sporting events.

I've already recommended a handful of top Peacock original shows to viewers in just such a position. If you're determined to make the most of your new streaming sub, I've also looked through everything new to Peacock in February 2026 and pulled together a quick list of must-see movies. You can find my top three recommendations below.

The top three new to Peacock movies I'd stream right now

'Challengers' (2024)

Luca Guadagnino's tennis romance "Challengers" is one of the finest movies I've seen in the current decade, so when I saw it had just been added to Peacock, I knew I'd be recommending it here. This is an exhilarating drama that combines love triangle drama with the unrelenting intensity of professional tennis, brought to life with ingenious cinematography, fierce performances and an electric score courtesy of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

"Challengers" introduces us to Tashi Duncan (Zendaya), an ambitious tennis prodigy turned coach, her flagging champion husband, Art Donaldson (Mike Faist), and her former boyfriend, washed-up tennis player Patrick Zweig (Josh O'Connor). Their paths cross when Tashi enters Art in a Challenger event, and we watch as tensions run high and "Challengers" peels back the layers of drama between the trio.

'Pride and Prejudice' (2005)

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I figured it made sense to highlight Joe Wright's "Pride and Prejudice" adaptation; if you're in the mood for love, I think you'd struggle to find a better romance in Peacock's roster.

This stunning 2005 adaptation sees Keira Knightley and "Succession" star Matthew MacFadyen taking on the roles of Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy and follows the pair as they fall for one another — even though Bennet swears Darcy is the very man she's bound to hate for all eternity. Wright's "Pride & Prejudice" is grand, stylish, and boasts an impeccable Dario Marianelli score, and I challenge viewers not to fall for its charms.

'The Revenant' (2015)

I'll round out this list with Alejandro González Iñárritu's Oscar-winning epic Western, "The Revenant." It's a beautiful, arduous survival movie, buoyed by a lead turn from Leonardo DiCaprio that finally earned him a Best Actor award from the Academy.

This 2015 release takes us back in time to 1823 and revolves around fur trapper Hugh Glass (DiCaprio). After witnessing the murder of his own son, Glass embarks on a brutal journey through the snowy wilderness in search of the member of his own hunting party who killed his son and left Glass for dead.
