The pandemic may be finally winding down, but the idea of a vacation just with your family, friends or tribe remains a very appealing concept. The Kahala neighborhood of Oahu is one of my favorites on the island, an upscale area located on the other side of Diamond Head from Honolulu. In this quiet enclave, the city seems like it’s a long ways away and Palm Tree Estate will make it seem even further distant. The 6,368 house is a throwback to the old days of classic Hawaiian waterfront living and has seven bedrooms and seven baths. It sits directly on the ocean, with direct private access from the front lawn to the beach, and would be ideal for a group of friends or even two families. There is a five bedroom, five bath main house with an ocean front lanai and two living areas. The two story house has a main living room and bar, ocean front dining area and separate upstairs media room. The master suites have a large covered lanai. Two studios, each with full kitchens and private entries provide additional bedrooms. Weekly rentals start at $24,000 per week, with a one month minimum stay.
Big Island of Hawaii
Tranquil and private, Pauoa Ocean Front Villa is situated in the Mauna Lani community on the Big Island of Hawaii.
