It can be very easy to feel like you're stuck on a hamster wheel of "work, appointment, errand, sleep, repeat." But if you want to gently and enjoyably ease your way into yet another busy week, we've got some Sunday Scaries-proof series that will get your next seven days off on the right foot.
And, helpfully, you can find three of them all under one roof: Hulu. From comforting dramedies to hilarious sitcoms, the streaming service is packed with feel-good, lighthearted titles that won't add any unnecessary stress to your already hectic schedule. When we could use a good laugh or a sweet moment, these are the kind of shows that we turn to time and time again.
Whether you want to spend time at a superstore or in Stars Hollow, here are three feel-good shows on Hulu to beat those Sunday Scaries. (And if it's more streaming inspiration you're after, here are all of the new shows and movies coming to Hulu in April 2026.)
'New Girl'
There are few groups of TV friends we want to pal around with (or play "True American" with) more than the "New Girl" crew. In the Elizabeth Meriwether-created FOX sitcom, Zooey Deschanel plays Jessica Day, a quirky schoolteacher who, following a bad breakup, finds herself unexpectedly sharing a Los Angeles apartment with three male roommates: Nick Miller (Jake Johnson), Schmidt (Max Greenfield), and Winston Bishop (Lamorne Morris).
Though the series was initially meant as a starring vehicle for Deschanel, over the course of seven seasons and 146 episodes, "New Girl" truly became one of television's great ensemble comedies, with the roomies becoming sweetly close pals and regularly getting up to absurd shenanigans. And things only got even more feel-good when that will-they-won't-they romance between Jess and Nick started to delightfully play out.

'Superstore'
Admittedly, yes, it seems odd to want to watch a show about work when you're trying to forget about your own job, but "Superstore" — the NBC sitcom that ran for six seasons from November 2015 to March 2021 — is chockfull of enough chuckles that you won't mind. Led by America Ferrera and Ben Feldman, the comedy follows the daily grind and ridiculous hijinks of employees working at a fictional Cloud 9 big-box store as they deal with eccentric customers, annoying managers and each other.
Like most ensemble shows, "Superstore" took a minute to establish its group dynamic but from the second season onwards totally found its comedy groove: Season three, which has a perfect 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, saw the series graduate "from the clearance section of network comedies to stake its claim as one of the most lovable ensembles on television, fleshing out its charming cast while expertly teasing out its central romance," per that site's critical consensus.

'Gilmore Girls'
If there's a more charming or cozy fictional town in television history than Stars Hollow, Connecticut, we don't know it. The quirky New England enclave serves not only as the setting but also a bonafide character in "Gilmore Girls," the Amy Sherman-Palladino-created mother-daughter dramedy starring Lauren Graham as a headstrong thirtysomething single parent and Alexis Bledel as her bookishly intelligent teenage daughter Rory.
Their picturesque Stars Hollow life is powered by pop culture references, whip-speed dialogue, lovably odd townsfolk —Scott Patterson's grumpy diner owner Luke, Melissa McCarthy's cheery chef Sookie and Liz Torres' randy dance teacher Miss Patty among them — and, of course, so much coffee. You'll never want to leave.
