€3.1 million worth of cocaine was seized during massive Dublin Port sting earlier today.
A 46-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the massive seizure.
The 45 kgs of cocaine had been hidden in a fridge.
Revenue officers discovered the of the illegal drug as part of an intelligence led operation and were helped by trusty detector dog James.
A Revenue spokeswoman said that today's sting was part of investigations targeting organised crime.
She said: "The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB).
"A man, aged 46, was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained under Section 2 of The Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act 1996 at Bridewell Garda Station. Investigations are ongoing.
"This operation was part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations targeting transnational organised crime and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.
