NEW DELHI: Deepti Sharma had a commendable outing with both bat and ball but Australia managed an easy six-wicket win against India in the second women's T20I, levelling the 3-match series in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.
As top batters faltered after promising starts, Deepti's crucial 31 took India to a fighting 130 for 8. The 26-year-old then produced a superb spell of 4-0-22-2 much to the delight of the nearly-packed DY Patil Stadium. However, India's total wasn't good enough to pose a significant challenge to Australia.
