NEW DELHI: Opening batsman Tom Latham of New Zealand made a timely comeback to form, bringing the Black Caps back into the second Test match against Australia on Saturday. They overcame a 94-run deficit to lead by 40 at the end of play.
One year after making his previous half-century against Sri Lanka at the same venue, Latham remained undefeated on 65 in New Zealand's second innings at Hagley Oval in Christchurch after being dropped by Alex Carey on 59.
