CHENNAI: After South Africa women finally tasted victory in their all-format tour of India, the second match of the three-game T20I series could be a hotly-contested affair at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Sunday.
The Proteas, who had lost the ODI series 0-3 and the one-off Test, brought the Indian juggernaut to a halt in the first T20I - the visitors emerged victorious by 12 runs on Fri day. India were found wanting in all three departments; the fielders were sloppy as if they were butter-fingered, the bowlers produced an average performance and the middle-order did not rise to the occasion.
