Authorities in Los Angeles have reported that approximately 29 individuals have been arrested in connection to criminal activities related to the ongoing wildfires in the area. Among those arrested, a burglary suspect was apprehended for attempting to disguise himself as a firefighter, highlighting the challenges faced by law enforcement during this crisis.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna disclosed that 25 arrests were made in the vicinity of the Eaton Fire, with an additional four individuals apprehended from the Palisades Fire evacuated zone. The incidents underscore the need for heightened vigilance in fire-affected areas to prevent further criminal acts.
