Online retailer Ego is selling a new pair of sandals which look very similar to ones sold by a designer brand - but for around £635 cheaper.
If there’s one shoe that has broken the internet this summer, it's the Hermès Chypre sandals - so much so that most of them have sold out on the Hermès site. However, the sandals would set you back around £660.
Ego, an online fashion retailer selling everything from clothes and accessories to jewellery and shoes, has a cheaper alternative. The site is selling a pair of sandals for £25 and they look very similar to Hermès’ Chypre shoes.

Both pairs feature a similar ‘H’ style strap as well as a second strap across the top of the foot. They are also both footbed sandals. However, the soles are slightly different and the second strap on the Chypre shoes also features a metal loop while the Ego pair does not.
The Hermès sandals are available in a range of colours, including black, blue, brown and more. The Ego shoes come in black, brown, pink, orange and green.
While Hermès Chypre would set shoppers back around £660, the Ego valerie gladiator velcro strap flat slider sandals cost £25. This means shoppers could save around £635 by opting for the dupe.
