247Sports has five Ohio State players selected in their latest 2024 NFL mock draft

The 2023 college football season is still a few months away, but that hasn’t stopped many from projecting where Ohio State and other star prospects might land in the NFL Draft.

There have been plenty of mock drafts dropped recently, some having a larger amount of Buckeyes selected, others not quite as many.

247Sports latest mock drafted up by Brad Crawford is in the middle, with five Buckeyes projected into the first round. Honestly, this is the best bet, especially considering where we are as the season approaches.

Find out below which Buckeyes were mocked by Crawford into the first round and what pick they were taken at while ignoring which team due to uncertainty of which team will pick where.

#2 Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Crawford’s take

“He’s (Harrison) is the best route-runner in the country and one of the strongest players on the outside.

#9 Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka

Crawford’s take

“When you watch Egbuka on film, he seems to always find soft spots in the secondary and get to those areas quickly. He has great hands, too.”

#17 Defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau

Crawford’s take

“Frankenstein’s monster was birthed at Ohio State during the Buckeye’s win at Penn State when Tuimoloau almost single-handedly shut down the Nittany Lions.”

#20 Defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr.

Crawford’s take

Crawford doesn’t touch on why Hall Jr. could get selected here, but many are expecting a huge season if he can stay healthy.

#23 Cornerback Denzel Burke

Crawford’s take

Again, Crawford doesn’t touch on why Burke would get picked here, but if he plays like he did during his freshman year, the first-round hype could return.
