Latam Airlines has reported that 24 individuals sustained injuries during a flight from Sydney, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand. The incident occurred on flight LA 800, where a technical event led to strong turbulence on board. Despite the turbulence, the plane was able to land as scheduled.
Upon landing at Auckland airport, ambulance crews were on standby to provide medical assistance to the affected passengers. The ambulance company in Auckland confirmed that they treated two dozen individuals for injuries ranging from moderate to minor.
