Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott were among those to buy horses at the Goffs Arkle Sale this week as millions changed hands.
In total, over €23milllion was spent at the sale, with €42,433 the average amount paid for a horse over the course of the sale, which took part over three days in two parts.
Mullins and Harold Kirk forked out €250,000 for sale topper King Rasko Grey after seeing off Paul Nicholls and Tom Malone in a bidding war for the Treannahow Stables-owned gelding.

It was the third Galiway gelding to join the Mullins yard this week. Galiway, a son of Galileo, is the sire of Mullins-trained Group 1 winners Vauban and Gala Marceau.
The Carlow trainer and Kirk spent €625,000 in total on six purchases, which included Kaliway de Thaix and Kalix Delabarriere, who cost €90,000 each.
Meath handler Elliott was also busy at the sale, spending €513,000 on six horses, the most expensive of which was Lacaduv, the second foal out of Gargotiere to Doctor Dino.
Elliott was alongside Aidan O'Ryan and Eddie O'Leary at the sale and also forked out €135,000 for a gelding out of Doyen by Hirayna.
