Gold prices remained largely unchanged at major jewellery brands today (Wednesday, August 26, 2026). Gold outlook
Prithviraj Kothari, Managing Director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., President of IBJA says , "Gold and silver are trading steady to bullish as markets weigh the U.S. Treasury's decision to double bond buyback operations, which pushed the dollar to a three-month low. Iran's renewed talks with Oman over Strait of Hormuz security eased oil prices, while IMF chief Kristalina Georgieva said the global economy has absorbed the Iran-related shock better than expected, though fiscal risks are rising in some countries. Markets now await Wednesday's PCE inflation data and Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole remarks. Gold touched $4,696 (~Rs 164,700) and silver hit $69.96 (~Rs 248,800), with both metals possibly due for consolidation."
