A 22-year-old woman has been found dead in a hotel where she was staying under supported living. Paige Bartram was found at the OYO hotel in Plymouth.
Her cause of death is unknown at this time, although her mother Vicky said Paige suffered from epilepsy, reports PlymouthLive. Paige's family has been told it may be up to four months before her body can be returned to them while investigations continue.
Paige's sister, Ellie has launched a gofundme appeal to raise money for her funeral. She wrote: "Paige Bartram was 22 years old and had so much to live for and to experience. Losing and out-living your child is a nightmare no parent would wish upon another.
"This has literally broke my mother and loss of Paige has affected our family, as once were six are now five. Growing up with someone, you’d never think about how life would be without them, the past few weeks we’ve had to accept the loss of our closest. My mum’s first daughter, my first best friend.
"Please could you kindly share and donate, every penny will go towards the funeral, help us give her the send off she deserves."
Paige's mum, Vicky, said Paige was a 'laughing jokey person' and said she 'liked music and was renowned for her TikTok videos'.
Vicky said: "Brad, who's 20 and Ellie, who's 16, have been really upset by her passing, as has Mia, who's 11. Eight-year-old Riley and five-year-old Caleb, being so young, they don't really understand it as much, but it's been hard on all of them. She is going to be sorely missed by the whole family."
A police spokesman said: "This death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is to be prepared for the coroner."
