The 20th Kirkcudbright Art and Crafts Trail was a huge success over the weekend.
Thousands of people flocked to the town to explore more than 100 different venues offering all sorts of art forms to enjoy.
Organiser Colin Saul said: “It was fantastic. A lot of people have said it was the best ever.
“We had a lot of regulars and also a lot of new people and they all enjoyed it. People were getting involved with our installations and it was just fabulous.
“I couldn’t do it on my own. There are a lot of helpers. It is hard work but so rewarding.”
This was the first art and crafts trail since Colin’s wife, Pauline, passed away in December.
