A Games authority tasked with delivering an infrastructure plan for the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games has received $62 million in the Queensland budget.

Some $31 million will be spent by the Queensland government in 2024-2025 for the preparation of additional project validation reports and establishment costs for the Games Venue and Legacy Delivery Authority.

Funding will be transferred to the authority once it is established, budget papers on Tuesday show.

Queensland's forward estimates take the state to just four years out from the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with joint state and Commonwealth funding remaining at $7.1 billion.

The state government has outlined $560 million in the budget for works "in procurement", $42 million for the Brisbane Aquatic Centre and $142 million for Sunshine Coast Indoor Sports Centre.

"In keeping with our government's response to the sport venue review, the venues infrastructure program includes the upgrading of Queensland State Athletics Centre, the refurbishment of the Gabba and Suncorp Stadium, and the construction of Brisbane arena," Treasurer Cameron Dick said.

Premier Steven Miles said all the projects in line for use at the 2032 Games were either at the project validation reports stage or had contracts out for tender.

"All of those are at some stage of that production," he said.

"We're aiming to have them open as soon as possible so that there is an opportunity for Queensland to benefit from them and experience them even before the Games.

"Many of those venues will be delivered over the coming years and I anticipate they'll be well and truly ready in time for the Games."
