Hot on the heels of MotoGP revealing its 2027 calendar, WorldSuperbike (WorldSBK) has done the same. With the calendar reveal comes confirmation of one of the rumors that had been circulating for the past few months.
WorldSBK is going to China for the first time, as the Shanghai International Circuit will host a round on October 29-31, but not just any round. If you know the calendar, then you know that's the last round of the season, and it takes Jerez on the calendar. Adding China to the calendar as the season seemingly out of nowhere might seem strange, until you realize how many Chinese manufacturers are in WorldSBK that weren't there just a few years ago. Think QJMotor, Kove, and ZX Moto, with CFMoto apparently on the way.
