The PGA Tour landed on the Monterey Peninsula for the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and the signature event offered a $20 million purse with $3.6 million to the winner.
Per custom, the event was staged at two courses: Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill, with players rotating between the two courses on Thursday and Friday before playing their weekend rounds at seaside Pebble.
Pebble Beach was no bargain on Saturday and Sunday but Collin Morikawa found the winning formula, winning for the seventh time on the PGA Tour but for the first time in more than two years. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler had a furious Sunday rally with a three-eagle 63 but came up two shots short.
