The second half of the 2026 Call of Duty League season is expected to be a thrilling stretch, with teams kicking off the CDL Major 3 Qualifiers on April 17 as they begin their push toward DreamHack Atlanta.

FaZe Vegas aim to carry over their strong form after winning CDL Major 2 at DreamHack Birmingham, while reigning world champions OpTic Texas seek to bounce back and reclaim their dominance following consecutive runner-up finishes in the last two Majors.

Meanwhile, the rest of the league is fighting to close the gap in CDL points, with every match proving crucial in the race to qualify for the Call of Duty World Championship 2026 in July. Here’s all you need to know about the CDL Major 3 Qualifiers.

CDL Major 3 Qualifiers format

The CDL Major 3 Qualifiers feature a shorter format compared to the previous two stages.

Each team will play a total of five best-of-five matches during this phase, providing limited opportunities to secure crucial wins. Standings at the end of the qualifiers will determine seeding for the Major 3 tournament at DreamHack Atlanta.

Additionally, teams earn 10 CDL points for each win, which contributes to their overall ranking in the 2026 CoD Champs standings, where only the top eight teams will qualify for Call of Duty esports’ annual crowning event.
