Jennifer English, known for her performances as Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, will not voice the main character in upcoming action-RPG Tides of Annihilation due to health issues. English is an acclaimed actress carrying both The Game Awards’ and BAFTA’s best performer accolades and brought the game’s lead, Gwendolyn, to life.
This was announced by the Tides of Annihilation devs early this morning via X.
“We have some sad news to share: Jennifer English will be stepping away from her role as the English voice of Gwendolyn, the main protagonist in Tides of Annihilation, due to personal health reasons. She will continue to support the project in an advisory role,” the developers wrote.
