2024 NFL mock draft: Ravens reload in the trenches with depth at edge rusher

The Baltimore Ravens are 13-4 and set to enjoy a week of rest after claiming the No. 1 seed in the AFC and a much-needed first-round bye.

Even with Lamar Jackson and company ready to roar into the playoffs, it’s never too early for a look ahead to the 2024 NFL Draft.

Baltimore currently has about $19,485,086 in salary cap space per Over The Cap, and they’re spending about $120+ million plus on the offensive side of the football.

The Ravens also have 27 players scheduled to hit free agency, and some tough decisions will be made regarding who returns to Baltimore.

With the Reese’s Senior Bowl fast approaching and draft coverage set to begin, we’re looking at an updated mock draft roundup for Wild Card Weekend.

Draft Wire has Baltimore reloading at key positions.

32 – Baltimore Ravens – WR Keon Coleman, Florida State

The Ravens could see a transition at wide receiver in the offseason so we opt for Keon Coleman to give Lamar Jackson another weapon.

64 – Baltimore Ravens – CB Denzel Burke, Ohio State

95 – Baltimore Ravens – DL Braden Fiske, Florida State

CBS Sports has the Ravens adding an offensive tackle.

Round 1 – Pick 32
Jordan Morgan OT
ARIZONA • SR • 6’5″ / 325 LBS

Baltimore

Morgan is an athletic tackle who moves well in space. He’ll need to get stronger at the point, but you can’t coach his movement skills.

USA Today

Oct 21, 2023; Columbus, Ohio, USA; Ohio State Buckeyes defensive end JT Tuimoloau (44) sacks Penn State Nittany Lions quarterback Drew Allar (15) during the fourth quarter of their game at Ohio Stadium.

USA Today has the Ravens adding a pass rusher to potentially replace Jadeveon Clowney.

32. Baltimore Ravens – JT Tuimoloau, DE, Ohio State
Eric DeCosta has built one of the NFL’s most formidable rosters by scooping up gems in the draft rather than forcing picks based on need. Here, that strategy points them toward Tuimoloau, a powerful if inconsistent force off the edge who should help replenish a pass rush that could lose Pro Bowl defensive tackle Justin Madubuike and Jadeveon Clowney in free agency.

Bleacher Report

Kansas redshirt senior offensive lineman Dominick Puni (67) is seen during Monday’s outdoor practice.

Bleacher Report has Baltimore adding talent in the trenches.

32. Baltimore Ravens: IOL Dominick Puni, Kansas

Kansas left tackle Dominick Puni spent four years at Central Missouri before heading to the Jayhawks program.

The 6’5″, 320-pound blocker took advantage of both stops to the point where he garnered a Senior Bowl invite for later this month.

The sixth-year senior could provide the Baltimore Ravens with an instant contributor considering their current starters on the right side, Kevin Zeitler and Morgan Moses, are 33 and 32, respectively.

PFF has Baltimore preparing to lose Justin Madubuike.

32. BALTIMORE RAVENS: IDL, LEONARD TAYLOR III, MIAMI
Record: 13-4
Top-100 picks: 3 (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Player ADP (via MDS): 27.9
The Ravens are one of the top rosters in the league this year, but with Jadeveon Clowney and Justin Madubuike set to be free agents this spring, a big swing of the bat on the defensive line could be warranted. Taylor is a bit high-variance and isn’t as reliable as you’d like in the run game, but his explosiveness at 6-foot-3, 305 pounds as a 3-tech pass rusher is pretty rare.
