With six games left to play in the regular season, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves at 7-4 and holding onto second place in the AFC North and a spot in the playoffs. But as we look ahead to the offseason, we have updated our Steelers 2024 mock draft to a full seven rounds. This one hits all the big needs and even lands the Steelers a backup quarterback with a ton of potential so Pittsburgh can cut loose Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph.
First round - CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama
Terrion Arnold is the perfect cornerback to pair up with Joey Porter Jr. as the future of the Steelers secondary.
Second round - C Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon
An NFL-ready center prospect who excels as a run blocker.
Third round - S Tykee Smith, Georgia
Tyreek Smith is an athletic ballhawk who can cover a ton of field.
Fourth round - QB Joe Milton III, Tennessee
A bit of a curveball here but Joe Milton III is too much of a bargain to pass up if he falls this far in the draft.
Fourth round - LB Junior Colson, Michigan
Junior Colson is a big physical inside linebacker with decent speed but lots of power at the point of attack.
Sixth round - WR Ainias Smith, Texas A&M
Ainias Smith is a quick, short-area expert who runs great routes and is dangerous after the catch as a wide receiver and out of the backfield. Also adds skills as a punt returner.
Seventh round - T J.C. Davis, New Mexico
J.C. Davis is a great developmental tackle with ideal NFL size and length in addition to exceptional function strength.
