Michigan State football remains in a good position to land a rising cornerback prospect from New York.
Samuel Madu of White Plains, New York revealed his top five schools list on Friday, which included the Spartans. Michigan State was joined by Minnesota, Penn State, Purdue and West Virginia in Madu’s top schools’ list.
Madu currently is unranked on 247Sports, but has picked up interest from numerous power five schools in recent months. He holds offers from 14 schools, including Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Penn State, Missouri, West Virginia, Duke, Boston College, Syracuse and Vanderbilt.
Madu is scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan State on June 16. He will also be visiting Minnesota and Purdue in June.
