Michigan State football is one of six schools still in the running for a big-time running back prospect in the 2024 class.
Four-star running back Anthony Carrie of Tampa, Fla. announced his top six schools list on Saturday — which included Michigan State. The Spartans were joined by Notre Dame, Ole Miss, North Carolina, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
Carrie ranks as the No. 14 running back in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He’s also listed as the No. 192 overall prospect in the class.
Carrie holds offers from more than 40 programs, according to 247Sports. That includes Michigan State — who has yet to pick up a running back commit in the 2024 class.
