Well, well, well… it appears the Seattle Seahawks are starting a bit of a trend for themselves during their pre-draft process. On Wednesday, the Seahawks brass went to the Ohio State pro day and took a selfie with quarterback C.J. Stroud. It turns out this photo was not simply a cute social media one-and-done.
On Thursday, Seattle sent their top men to the Alabama pro day where they have repeated the selfie with the Crimson Tide’s quarterback, Bryce Young. The 2021 Heisman Trophy Winner and 2020 National Champion is widely expected to be a Top 5 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Similar to how Stroud is potential favorite to be drafted No. 1 overall by the Carolina Panthers, it does not seem likely Young will be available for the Seahawks to select at No. 5 overall since three of the four teams ahead of them are quarterback-needy. However, it’s always better to do your homework and overprepare than being caught your proverbial pants down in case Young falls to an advantageous draft position.
