2023 NFL draft grades: Buccaneers pick DE YaYa Diaby at No. 82 overall

YaYa Diaby NFL Louisville

The NFC South was heavy on the defensive line in the third round as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected former Louisville defensive end YaYa Diaby at No. 82 overall.

Diaby had a great 2022 with a 9-sack season. He also had 14 tackles for a loss. He had flashed some ability in 2021, but never really finished on the production. He had a better showing in run defense in 2021, but shined as a pass rusher in 2022. It’ll be about finding consistency with both for him.
