The Indianapolis Colts traded the No. 141 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for the Nos. 158 and 211 overall picks.
After getting the No. 141 pick in the Day 2 trade with the Las Vegas Raiders, the Colts used this selection to move back 17 spots while adding a sixth-round pick, something they didn’t have before this trade.
According to Rich Hill trade value chart, the No. 141 pick is worth 15 points while the combination of the Nos. 158 and 211 picks are worth 13 points. So Chris Ballard probably just wanted to get a pick in the sixth round, especially since they have two other fifth-round picks (Nos. 162 and 176).
