NEW YORK — Nominees were announced Monday for next month’s 75th annual Tony Awards, set to honor the best and brightest from Broadway’s 2021-2022 season.
A trio of new musicals — “A Strange Loop,” with 11 nods, and “MJ” and “Paradise Square,” tied with 10 — led a field of plucky and often powerful productions that persevered through the bumps of COVID-19.
The Tony Awards are scheduled for June 12 and will be broadcast on CBS. Here’s a look at all the nominees.
