The weigh-ins for the PFL’s first playoff event of the 2022 season are in the books, and all eight postseason fighters are on the mark.
Top lightweight seed Anthony Pettis (25-13) weighed in at 155.6 pounds for his rematch against Stevie Ray (24-10), who was 155.8. Ray upset Pettis in the regular season with a submission. But Pettis already had wrapped up the No. 1 seed going into the fight.
The winner of that semifinal fight will meet the winner of Olivier Aubin-Mercier (15-5) and Alexander Martinez (10-2). Aubin-Mercier was 155; Martinez came in at 156.
In the light heavyweight semifinals, No. 1 seed Rob Wilkinson (15-2) was 205.8 pounds for his fight with No. 4 Delan Monte (9-2), who was 205.2. And No. 2 Omari Akhmedov (23-7-1) was 204.6 pounds for his fight with late replacement Josh Silveira (9-0), who was 206.
The 2022 PFL Playoffs 1 event takes place Friday at Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main card airs on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN+ and ahead of post-lim qualifiers on ESPN+.
