The Oklahoma City Thunder have selected Santa Clara guard Jalen Williams at No. 12 in the 2022 NBA draft.
Williams spent three seasons in college with Santa Clara, where he averaged 18 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists on 51.3 percent shooting in 33 games.
The Thunder added three top-12 picks to their roster in Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren, NZ Breakers’ Ousmane Dieng and Williams.
The Thunder were able to acquire the No. 11 pick from the New York Knicks in a trade that sent away multiple future first-round draft picks.
The Thunder own one more pick in the second round at No. 34 overall for the 2022 NBA draft.
