2022 Local Elections: SNP overtake Conservatives to become largest party in Perth and Kinross Council

Perth and Kinross Council Perth Kinross John Swinney Barrett Perthshire

The Scottish National Party has become the largest party in Perth and Kinross Council, with 16 of the 40 seats.

The SNP gained one more seat and now hold 16, replacing the Conservatives on top who now have 14.

There are now four Independent councillors, two Liberal Democrat councillors and two Labour councillors in the region.
