2022 Commonwealth Games: ‘Hardcore’ Joe Fraser battles through pain barrier to secure gymnastics gold

Joe Fraser overcame a ruptured appendix and a fractured foot to help England claim gold in the men’s team gymnastics at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Fighting through the pain barrier, the 23-year-old also booked his place in the four apparatus finals only five weeks after being rushed to hospital for an emergency operation.
