‘200 cases pending in Telangana ’, says National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma

HYDERABAD: National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Rekha Sharma on Monday said that 200 cases were pending with Telangana State Women’s Commission.

Speaking to the media at Raj Bhavan, the NCW chief said she sought an appointment with the DGP, but was denied.

“I was told to approach the SP of women, and, if I get time, I will meet with the DGP on Tuesday,” she added.
