What It’s About: A dark and twisted play on the “Cinderella” fairy tale, this movie explores the timeless story from the point of view of the supposed “ugly stepsister.”

What To Expect: Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, The Ugly Stepsister is a fantastical, albeit unsettling, spin on one of literature’s most well-known stories. With elements of black comedy, body horror, and some romance, you get it all here.
