Telangana’s COVID-19 tally rose by 20 new cases on Tuesday, taking the cumulative total to 7,91,542. On the day, as many as 16,701 samples were tested and the results of 391 were awaited.
As has been the trend for months now, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation region recorded the highest of nine infections in the State.
As of Tuesday evening, the active caseload stood at 226. Over 3.43 crore samples have been tested since the outbreak of the pandemic with 7,87,205 persons having recovered, and 4,111 succumbing to the contagious infection.
