The Ravens have a two-time MVP under center heading into the 2024 season, and his contract extension from last spring looks like a bargain compared to others. Philadelphia set the bar when they signed Jalen Hurts to a five-year, $255 million deal with $179 million guaranteed.
On Thursday evening, Jacksonville made their star quarterback one of the highest-paid players in NFL history.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Lawrence and the Jaguars agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension worth $275 million, including $200 million in total guarantees and $142 million fully guaranteed.
The deal also includes a $37.5 million signing bonus.
