Bolton Wanderers reduced the gap to the League One play-offs to nine points heading into the international break with a dramatic late win on the road against Crewe Alexandra.
In a first half which was scrappy in windy conditions at Gresty Road and Bolton's best chance came through Kieran Sadlier's free-kick being saved, Wanderers improved after the break and Dapo Afolayan struck the post as the visitors looked more likely to score.
And that late goal came when Sadlier's free-kick came off the post and George Johnston crossed back into the box for Amadou Bakayoko to net his 11th goal of the season and reduce the deficit to the play-offs to nine points with seven games of their season left after the 1-0 victory in Cheshire.

The result has left Wanderers remaining 11th in the third tier of English football, but due to the win and results elsewhere, they have reduced the gap to the top six slightly to nine points, with seven games of the season remaining.
When they return to action at the start of April, they have a huge week in prospect with a trip to Wigan Athletic, as well as home clashes against fellow play-off hopefuls Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday.
But after the late drama in Cheshire, members of the Wanderers dressing room took to Twitter to have their say on the victory and the jubliant celebrations it sparked with some 2,300 travelling Bolton supporters.
Bakayoko wrote: "Unbelievable support today massive thank you. +3. What a club."
Aaron Morley wrote: "20 goals 20 goals @bakayoko_a."
Will Aimson wrote: "Those 1-0 away wins."
James Trafford wrote: "Great win and clean sheet."
