LEXINGTON, Ky. — A homicide investigation is underway after Lexington police found two minors suffering from gunshot wounds, and a third person dead in the area of Pine Meadows Park.
Officers were dispatched to the area of Pine Meadows Park and Tazewell Drive for a shooting around 2 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, according to Hannah Sloan, a spokesperson for the Lexington Police Department.
When they arrived, the found one juvenile suffering a gunshot wound who was later taken to a local hospital. A second young victim arrived at a hospital later on, also with a gunshot wound.
