Plans have been put forward to make changes to two KFC restaurants in Nottingham. Plans have been proposed to Nottingham City Council to install two rapid electric vehicle charging stations within the car park of KFC in Clifton Lane, Clifton.
The plans involve three existing parking spaces becoming two rapid electric vehicle charging stations. The plans have been put forward by InstaVolt, a network that creates electric vehicle charging, and operates as the primary charging network for a range of business fleets across the UK.
They are partnered with KFC and with a range of well-known businesses such as Costa, McDonald's, Co-op and Starbucks.

Proposals have also been put forward for the KFC, in Milton Street in Nottingham city centre. The plans involve changes to the shop front and adding new signs.
The proposal is to upgrade the external appearance of the KFC unit to bring the store in line with the latest KFC corporate branding, with signage panels to be replaced.
The shape and graphics have been updated, with the illuminated red KFC letters to be replaced with a new and updated font style.
There will be new graphic vinyls proposed to all of the first floor windows, along both Milton Street and Trinity Square. Both applications are pending consideration and are yet to be decided by Nottingham City Council.
