Around three million people have joined an online debate over whether a wedding guest's 'perfect dress' is actually a very bad choice. Lauren Candy, from the UK, shared a video of the dress she has chosen to wear to a wedding - but a row broke out over whether the dress is suitable, because people can't agree on the colour.
Lauren shared a clip of the dress to TikTok describing it as 'quite possibly the most beautiful wedding guest dress ever'. The dress from ASOS' Bridesmaid collection, is called the cami embellished midi dress with embroidery in sage green, but many people watching Lauren's clip wearing the £110 dress said it is actually white - which would rule it out for wedding guests, reports The Mail.
One wrote: 'If someone says something looks white - don’t wear it to a wedding, it’s a great dress but not for a wedding.' Another added 'My rule for weddings is if you have to wonder if it’s too close to white… it’s too close to white.'
