After two days out of sight while vacationing in the U.S. Virgin Islands, President Joe Biden ventured out on Friday for a round of golf.

Biden and grandson Hunter, 16, were hitting balls on the 18-hole course at the Buccaneer Beach and Golf Resort in the town of Christiansted on St. Croix. The course offers spectacular views of the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and the island's coastline.

New York has just declared a state of emergency as measles cases continue to rise. So far this year, the US has recorded 3,887 cases of measles, the highest annual total since 1991. That is about 70% more cases than were recorded during the whole of 2025.
