1983 World Cup winner Sandeep Patil suffers heart problems

Sandeep Patil World Cup Kapil Dev India Heart Attack Mumbai

MUMBAI: After former India captain Kapil Dev suffered a heart attack in October 2020, another hero of India’s 1983 World Cup victory has suffered a genuine health scare.

Sandeep Patil on Monday night suffered from chest pain, following which he was rushed to the hospital. He underwent various tests at a hospital in Andheri and then had a CT angio at the Jaslok Hospital.
