Archive footage has emerged online showing Glasgow families enjoying all the fun of the British seaside in Blackpool in the 1960s.
The clip, which was originally recorded for Scottish news magazine programme A Quick Look Round, aired on BBC 1 Scotland back in July 1966 and features a number of Glasgow holidaymakers speaking about their reasons for visiting the famous Lancashire resort.
The microphone is put to mums, dads, and youngsters, who each give their own views on why Blackpool is worth making the 400-mile round trip from Glasgow by road and rail.
