Tragedy struck South Carolina as at least 19 individuals lost their lives in storms linked to Hurricane Helene, as confirmed by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety revealed that the coroner's offices in various counties provided information on the fatalities. The breakdown of deaths by county is as follows:
