An 18-year-old San Antonio woman has been arrested and charged after police said she handed her baby to a person she had just met at a downtown bus stop and said she no longer wanted the child.

Karla Ibarra was taken into custody after returning to the area shortly after the alleged incident, according to police and court records cited by local media.
